Rooms with character for ideas with impact

As a revitalized industrial building and listed architectural jewel, the Tabakfabrik is not only a creative hotspot and collaborative group, but also a unique event venue.

In addition to exceptional spaces, individual service and flexible settings, the inspiring atmosphere of the creative quarter also offers an extraordinary setting for events.

The extensive area offers a wide variety of rooms with a total of around 2,500 square meters, which can be used for many individual formats as required.

The repertoire here ranges from congresses and trade fairs to major events, concerts and exhibitions as well as company celebrations and cultural events to seminars and workshops – the possibilities for commercial or artistic use of the Tabakfabrik are almost unlimited.

The Tabakfabrik team will be happy to assist you with all technical and organizational matters (see also below: Event service).

All event enquiriesTabakfabrik are checked for compatibility with Tabakfabrik’s mission statement and vision. We therefore reserve the right to refuse events if they are not compatible with Tabakfabrik’s values. The general legal provisions of the Upper Austrian Event Safety Act apply to all events.

Tabakfabrik offers the option of hiring staff, services and technology. Alternatively, you can also work with the companies of your choice.

The event locations and workshop rooms at Tabakfabrik Linz are state of the art. We offer various technical packages. We cooperate with proven partners for any additional technical requirements. You can also use your own contacts.

Once the heart of tobacco production, today a spectacular state-of-the-art event venue - the light-flooded Lösehalle. Space for catering possible due to suspension.

We are happy to provide staff such as technicians, assistants, etc. if required. For safety reasons, an in-house fire safety officer is present at every event. The costs for the personnel are listed in the offer.

We are happy to provide contacts to our long-standing catering partners on request. With the exception of a preferred catering partner in lecture hall 0, there are no restrictions on the choice of caterer.

All event rooms at Tabakfabrik Linz are barrier-free.

If you have any special requirements, please contact us in good time – we will be happy to help you plan and implement barrier-free events.

Tabakfabrik is listed as an event venue in the Partner:innen database of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings & Green Events.

Successfully boarded – the move of the PirateBall to Tabakfabrik required a new concept. The organization team of the LRV Ister was perfectly supported by the Tabakfabrik crew, creative and solution-oriented was implemented together. 1700 enthusiastic visitors celebrated a glittering carnival party. The pirates have come to stay.

Bei öffentlichen Veranstaltungen muss der:die Veranstalter:in beim Magistrat der Stadt Linz / Bezirksverwaltungsamt, Abteilung Veranstaltungen und Verkehrsrecht (Telefonnummer 0732/ /7070-0 ) eine Veranstaltungsbewilligung einholen (Achtung: Spätestens 6 Wochen vor der Veranstaltung). Der:die Veranstalter:in stimmt zu, dass die vom Bezirksverwaltungsamt ausgestellte Veranstaltungsgenehmigung direkt an die TFL übersendet wird.
Bitte um eine ausführliche Beschreibung des Veranstaltungsinhaltes oder des Konzepts.

Dem:der Veranstalter:in ist hiermit bekannt, dass die TFL keine Veranstaltungsstättenbewilligung hat, sondern für jede Veranstaltung für die jeweiligen Flächen eine Veranstaltungsgenehmigung beim Magistrat Linz eingeholt werden muss. Weiters hat der:die Veranstalter:in dafür Sorge zu tragen, dass an Türen, Mauern, etc. der TFL keine Plakate angebracht werden, da es sich um denkmalgeschützte Bauten handelt.
